The following awards are available to members of the Student Government Association.

Liaison of the Year (Atlanta Campus only)
2016-17 Recipient – Markeesa Walker

This award is designed to recognize a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership or involvement as a Freshman or Transfer Liaison in the Georgia State University SGA. Honorees should have an established dedication to gathering feedback from their peers, conducting research on those issues and will have actively worked to improve Georgia State University and/or the greater community.

Through dedication, initiative, innovation, and perseverance, this individual will have demonstrated a commitment to creating positive change in our campus community.

This award recognizes the effort required to serve as the first student body President of the consolidated Georgia State University.
