Election Results

Georgia State University held a general election for the 2019-2020 executive and legislative candidates of the Student Government Association on March 26 – 28, 2019. The results, with 2,527  votes cast, are available by viewing our 2019 Election Results.

Since none of the presidential or Atlanta executive vice presidential candidates obtained 51% of the vote, a run-off election was held on April 4 between the two candidates who received the most votes in each race.  After 877 students cast their vote, Jazmin Mejia was elected as president of the 90th administration of the Student Government Association and Hamza Rahman as Atlanta executive vice president.
